Commercial Floor Sanding & Sealing Video’s

Church Floor Sanding.  235 sqm of Oak Hardwood Herringbone Block Flooring, Sanded & Sealed by Floorcare Services (Time Lapse video 56). These Oak Block floors were sanded at The Presentation Sisters Convent, Matlock, Derbyshire. It was sanded back to bare wood and Sealed with 3 coats of ‘Floortech Products – New Sportguard’ a solvent based moisture cured polyurethane commercial grade floor seal. We sanded the floor removing the previous finish / seal / varnish, wear marks, scratches, and damage was repaired via filling. This Church Hall Floor was refurbished in a total of 4 days only.

330 sqm of Maple Wood Buff Composite Block (Granwood) Flooring, Chemically Stripped, Cleaned, Abraded and Re-sealed by Floorcare Services (Time Lapse video 44). This Theatre floor was refurbished at Landau Forte, Derby, Derbyshire. It was cleaned and Abraded, then sealed with 3 coats of ‘Floortech Products – Sportguard’ a solvent based moisture cured polyurethane commercial grade floor seal conforming to EN BS 14904 Slip resistance for indoor sports play. The second/final coat was applied the following day/ day 2.  As it wasn’t sanded there was no dust, no material removed from the floor and only took 2 days to complete.

50 sqm of Pine Flooring, Sanded & Sealed (Time Lapse video 29). This Softwood floor was sanded at ‘The Loft Restaurant, Belper’. It was sanded back to bare wood removing all previous finish, marks, scratches etc. We filled any holes around the floor from grippers, damage etc. Then applied a barrier ‘Pre-Seal’ primer coat, followed by 3 coats of two component (2 pack) water based commercial grade ‘Aquaguard’ polyurethane floor seal, Satin finish was applied.  This Floor was Sanded and Sealed in Belper, Derbyshire, and Completed 13th November 2016.

4 Office Rooms of Hard & Softwood flooring, Sanded and Sealed by Floorcare Services (Time Lapse video 39). These Pine Softwood floors were sanded back to bare wood, removing all previous finish, marks, scratches etc.. The softwood floors required a barrier coating to stop the risk of rejection from subsequent coats of water based finish. After by using ‘Pre-Seal’ primer coat (and staining 1 small room medium oak), they were sealed with a water based, two component (2 pack or 2K) commercial grade floor seal. The third/final coat was applied the following day.  These floors were refurbished in Belper, Derbyshire. It took 2 days to sand back to bared wood and applied coat 1 & 2 as seen in the video with coat 3 applied the following day,
